Brooke 3.30.2015

Brooke went to the Color Festival (you throw colored cornstarch in the air and at other people...every man for himself!) with Jessica Tripp, Chastity DeMoors, and Shelby Bryant...all people from Erin's mission! She had so much fun and she plans on going to it every year until she dies...;) Afterwards, they went to Wendy's for some food.

Sister Erin 3.30.2015

Holy. Cow. Family...... This week was so weird! We were running home one night to make it home by curfew and Sis Mahoney tripped and fell and slid on the asphalt and she scraped herself up pretty badly, and she was not able to work for several days because she was in such pain. But, I cleaned her up pretty good and she is well on her way to health and strength again and she's doing great. I'm pretty sure she got a concussion too because she smacked her head on the parking lot and her glasses went flying. I wanted to cry because I felt so bad for her but the only thing that came out of me was an uncontrollable laugher. Ha. I couldn't stop, I felt awful. Ha Ok...... so yesterday, we got 14 member present lessons!!!!!! We had 3 at church!!!!!!!!! We found 6 new investigator families!!!!!!!!!! We passed out 28 #BecauseHeLives cards!!!!!!!!!! We gave 17 blessings to people!!!!!!!!!!!! AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our AP's and other leaders called us because they said that we're the most effective missionaries in the GAM and in the US and possibly the world too because we work so hard! HUZZAH!!! PRAISE GOD!! It's so great! I don't think I've ever been so excited to report our numbers, but it was just an all around fabulous week because yesterday really made up for the rest of it. iHay que fantastica! It's been the craziest storm today. We got special permission to go to the zoo today up in ATL and it's been raining buckets and lightning and thundering insanely. Already, we look outside as we're wearing rain boots and we're wet. I hope it all works out!!!!!!!!!!!!! But if you look at the bright side, it won't be too crowded because nobody else is crazy enough to go out in it! Wow! missionary service trains you for everything! Hahaha We're pros at standing out in rain!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE YOU MORE THAN RAIN BOOTS SQUEAK WHEN YOU WALK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mom: The yard is absolutely bEaUtIfUl!!!! We just need to replace the brick with cute stones. :D And don't worry, the pictures don't make me homesick at all, I'll see it all in person pretty soon. Dad: You're so kind in helping everyone who comes to your door. I aerated this week, in a skirt. :D You would be so proud of me because I knew how to turn it on and off. My arms felt like a sack of jelly by the time I was about 5 minutes into it so I had to give it back to the man to do. I could barely drive because my arms tingled all day long. Ha #outofshape I need to play some sports so I can get back into shape! Jennifer: I'm so excited that you get to work with Brooke! Have fun at her store this week! Kevin: Weird, your 2 hours of sleep last night reminds me of everyday of my mission thus far! Brooke: Those blast from the past pictures are preciosa! And... I look ridiculously buff in one of them! Hahahaha Aren't my GAM peeps just the bomb diggity??? I love them sooooo much! For sure, we'll be friends for LYFE!!!!!!!!!! The color run looked crazily fun!!!! We have to do fun stuff like that when I get home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Natha: I've decided to include you on this list because you're faithful at writing me. :D You are mi familia! Thanks for letting me email you everything today, my mom's email is wigging out. RANDOMNESS: ***I caught a frog on a random person's doorstep this week and when I was holding it out to take a picture, it jumped up and landed on my name tag, I took a picture, and right after the picture, it jumped up and hit my face and landed and got tangled in my hair. Naturally, I started freaking out and jumped around like a mad woman and some how, I hit it out and still was freaking out and I ended up stepping on the poor thing. #restinpeaceFrankie ***I had an eating competition with a Mexican waiter at a restaurant and I owned him. He ate 9 tacos, I ate 11. I asked someone to hold my camera and take pictures, but they ended up "taking pictures" when the camera was off. But, I now have a lifetime offer of free tacos at this place called Los Mariachis. Muahahahaha ***an old man with Dementia (don't know how to spell it) was flirting with me. He asked me to marry him and I kindly said no. He took that as a yes and kept hitting on me. Ha ***I accidently stepped on a cat and it clawed it's way up my leg. I had no idea cats burrow in piles of leaves! I just jumped in it and found a painful surprise! ***I got bit by 2 dogs this week! 2!!! I LOVE YOU MORE THAN OLD MEN LIKE TO FLIRT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!#he's4xmyage

Sister Erin 3.23.2015

Familia!!!!!! Sis Mahoney was sick during the week, so I spent the days making phone calls and doing work from the apartment and all of a sudden, there were 6 beatles in our window. I grabbed tissue to go and kill them and when I did so, their blood burned my skin on my fingers. Then, something in our apartment started to reak soooooo bad. I couldn't figure out what it was, so I picked up one of the dead bugs to flush it and I sniffed it. The smell was stronger than anything I have ever smelt in my whole life. It was soooo bad that I passed out! I melted to the floor and woke up moments later! hahaha. And for the rest of the day, I felt high. Hahahahahaha It was an absolute downpour yesterday!!!!! The only times I've been wetter are when I'm immersed in a pool of water. We were so soaked and I didn't think it would be possible for me to ever get warm again. It wasn't freezing, but since we were so wet, we were frozen to the bone. Mikayla came out with us and we walked around in the pouring rain for several hours. We went from running under awnnings to stay dry to jumping in puddles and walking in overflowing gutters. I LOVE YOU MORE THAN THERE ARE BUGS IN GA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mom: The weather made it into the 50's? Ha. It's been in the 90's here. :) You just need to move to PTC. Have the funnest time meeting Sister Dutra! She'll love you and you'll love her! Dad: Why did Bro Cannon get released? Are they moving??????? They can't! I love them! That's so funny! We've had several encounters with Jehovah Witnesses this week too! I guess I have a reputation among them too. When they hear 'Sister Echols' they retreat. Hahahahahaha. I guess I'm famous among their congregations! Jennifer: Brooke works at EEI with you????? So fun!!!!!!!!!! Are you still working there full time? Kevin: Has it been 2 years since Brady left? Holy smokes! That went so fast! I'm so glad he's a lot more mature now. Hahahahahaha You slay me! Brooke: That picture is soooo cute! Haha. It totally describes us! You with your fancy hair and me with my weird face! hahahahahahahaha. I"M SO HAPPY YOU GOT A JOB AT EEI!!!!!!!!!!! You'll be the bomb .com there!!!!!!!!! Let me know INSTANTLY as soon as you find out ANYTHING about your shoulder! RANDOMNESS: ***was told by a 13 year old boy that if he was 3 years older and I wasn't a missionary, he'd kiss me. Hahahahaha. Son, I'm twice your age!!!!!!! *** I was sitting on the floor at someone's house when their big Mastiff dog came to lay next to me, but he was uncoordinated and ended up laying ON me. After about 10 minutes, my legs were totally numb because he was so heavy. Haha. The only way they could get him up was to pull out the treats and beckon him to come into the kitchen. *** a sister missionary that we're over swore and I called her out on it and now she absolutely loathes me. Oh well....... "the wicked take the truth to be hard" *** we were teaching a big black guy and at the end, we were leaving so I stuck out my hand for a hand shake, he kept walking forward for a hug and I kept my hand there. My hand hit his stomach and my middle finger went into his belly button!!!!!!!!!!! Nasty!!!! Thank goodness he was wearing a shirt because I almost died when my finger popped out of his navel. He ended up hugging me which made my finger go even farther into his belly button. I was expecting to hit the end of his belly button, but it was huge! My finger was almost totally engulfed in his navel! I probably looked like an awkward squirrel because I didn’t know what to do. Hahahaha *** I am no learning a little French. :D I LOVE YOU MORE THAN CANADADIANS LOVE SNOW!!!!!!!!! 1. What has been your biggest challenge this week? There's a sister who we're over and she loathes my guts, she'll do anything she can to make people hate me (lying and spreading false rumors), and it makes her even more angry when people meet me and they fall in love with me. Anyway, she swore and I called her out on it and she freaked out and went ballistic. Yikes, I hate stupid people. 2. What has been your biggest concern? Everyone in PTC is starting to call me Erin, I'm worried that the AP's will find out and ask to transfer me because the people are getting so used to me being around. 3. What has been your biggest success? I changed 2 struggling companionships into mighty missionaries, they're now rocking their area. 4. Who has been your favorite person this week? Why? Mikayla Denison, she's like my little sister, I love her so much. We always have a ball together. 5. What has been your most significant tender mercy? Don't tell this to ANYONE: (...removed...)so. cool. 6. What are you looking forward to this coming week? It's supposed to be sunny weather 7. Do you have a goal set for this coming week? Tell me about it. . I want to change Mahoney's outbound experience, I want to help her to work. :D That's my goal! 8. Which scripture has had the biggest impact on you this week? King Benjamin's address.

Happenings of the Brookemister 3.16.2015

Worked on the Spitfire with my dad...Not afraid of a little grease. No Siree!!!!!

Sister Erin 3.16.2015

Family! This week was sooooo great! We had superb weather most days and we didn't even have to wear a coat or sweater or anything! (Haha, but obviously I'm not naked, I still wear the normal missionary clothes, just without all the extra warm things ha) I went on exchanges a couple times and I was with a sister once that was sooooooo trunky! I've never been with a missionary who has given up on the work months before her mission ends, it was so hard, but I rebuked her and commanded her to repent. I explained to her that this was not her time to quit, but the Lord's time to work. I've only ever met a more disobedient missionary once. She's number 2. We're working with President to see what needs to be done. I felt like a horrible person because everyone else was too intimidated by her to tell her what she was doing was wrong in the sight of God. It was insane. This week, we knocked on a door and an old lady answered the door, looked at us, then slammed the door in our faces. Behind the door, you could hear her yelling at the top of her lungs: FFFRRREEEDDD!!!!! Come quick! The Mormon movie star is at our door!!!!!!!!!!! Hahahahaha They came to the door and let us in, we had about an hour conversation and I'm pretty sure they didn't get anything from the restoration lesson that we taught because they were too busy staring at me. I asked them what they were doing and they said they had met me a year ago in Wal-Mart and how I remind them so much of a movie star. They said I have the face and poise of a celebrity. I FINALLY FIGURED IT OUT!!! That's why everyone knows me! I guess I just act like a famous person! HAhaha. I almost died of laughter!!! We saw some people moving into our apartment complex so we ran back home, threw on some pants and helped them move, they were so gracious because we carried loads and loads and loads up the flight of stairs. They couldn't believe that 'Mormons' were nice. Ha. They had heard some bad things and we set them straight! They're coming to church!!! YAY! I LOVE YOU MORE THAN THE LENGTH OF WORMS IN THE SOUTH!!!!!!!!!!! Mom: I'll still get the mail, but only for March, after that, you HAVE to use the new address, otherwise, they'll just send it back to you. They changed the city boundaries, so that address no longer exists. Dad: I haven't gotten any of your letters, I hope I will soon though. Love you! I'm glad you're getting the waterfall to work! Before, it was just a pile of pretty rocks. Jennifer: Your kids get cuter and cuter every time I see pics of them! How's your business doing? Kevin: Haha, I think it's funny how you always apologize for the weekly 'short message', if you want to write more, you just need to take more time. Smack Eldon! That's disgusting! Brooke: Hahaha, Yes, I've seen Divergent, I've seen more of the new movies than you have darling, but don't you worry, I'll still spend time with you. Ya, it looks like Matt turned out to be a punk. He was a bomb.com missionary, but he doesn't appear to be that way in real life. RANDOMNESS... ***I stepped on a worm this week that was easily 2 feet long, I slipped on it and landed in a huge puddle, when I looked down to see what I slipped on, I was horrified to find that it wasn't a worm, it was a wet snake. Sick! *** A cosmetician told me that I have 'magazine cover eyebrows' Ha! I snorted in front of her because I laughed so hard. *** Us, as missionaries, all sang in sacrament yesterday. We all sang Joseph Smith's First Prayer to the tune of Come Thou Fount. It turned out quite nicely for singing it for the first time in church. Then, Mahoney and I were asked to teach about scriptures in the Gospel Principles class. So, I pulled out my juggling balls out of my bag and I asked one of the AP's to help me. I ended up throwing the balls at him for a little object lesson. It went so well and it really got the class excited. I'm pretty sure I'm the only missionary who could do something as random as that and get away with it, people here know me. I am RaNdOm! *** Do you remember my sad lip? The one I do when I pretend to be sad? Well, I got called a guppie because apparently, it reminds everyone of a guppie fish. That's now my new nickname. Ha! *** People here are starting to call me by my first name! Nobody here says Sister Echols anymore, they all call me Erin. I asked them why they do that and they respond with: Well, you've already been here over a year and a half, so, we might as well call you Erin. Hahahahahaha I have to admit, it is nice hearing my name again, but it's sooooo weird having all my ward members call me it! *** I've officially been out for over 19 months now. #olddog *** When missionaries ask me how long I've been out for, I tell them 19 months and their jaws drop and President just laughs. They're so confused that they don't even ask how that's possible. Ha I LOVE YOU MORE THAN THE FLOWERS ON THE TREES SMELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 1. What has been your biggest challenge this week? . I was on exchanges with a sister who was the #1 trunky missionary in the world, she refused to work. 2. What has been your biggest concern? How in the world am I going to baptize our investigators before the end of my mission?????? They are all progressing, but for some reason, they don't get baptized........ 3. What has been your biggest success? We got 2 of our investigators on date for baptism. 4. Who has been your favorite person this week? Why? Elder Savage, he was a really good sport in church when we were teaching a lesson and got to throw balls at him for an object lesson. 5. What has been your most significant tender mercy? The fact that I don't have to wear a coat anymore, I just wear Toms and a short sleeved shirt, it makes me so much happier. 6. What are you looking forward to this coming week? I can't wait to have interviews with President! They're either on Tuesday or Weds! I'm so excited! I love that man! 7. Do you have a goal set for this coming week? Tell me about it. I want to get 3 more investigators on date for baptism. 8. Which scripture has had the biggest impact on you this week? The war chapters in Ether, they show how Prophets always tell the truth and will never be led wrong.

Sister Erin 3.8.2015

WHAT??? I had to say goodbye to Dutra! Nooooo! I love her so much! I'll really miss my Brazilian! It was the craziest thing, we were driving late at night on Tuesday (the night before Dutra left) and we were passing over a bridge and we looked out over the lake when all of a sudden a ginormous wall of fog came crashing down over the bridge. Everyone slammed on their breaks and came to a screeching halt because you could not see ANYTHING. I thought about getting out of the car to see if I could see anything and I felt prompted not to, so I didn't. Literally just moments later, a huge semi came flying over the bridge and barely missed our car. When he saw all the cars on the bridge at a standstill, he slammed on his breaks, sent over the median and came to a stop just feet in front of the edge of the bridge on the other side. Holy smokes, I almost became Erin Jelly! When I saw him flying past, my soul was traumatized and I could feel the terror fill my heart knowing if I hadn't listened to the spirit, I would have died. We stayed up until midnight getting all her luggage ready for the journey and the AP's came and got her at 5 in the morning! They drove me to a nearby apartment with the sisters in Whitewater and I laid on their floor until it was time to get up. I couldn't sleep at all because my heart was so broken. I really loved Dutra and I know we'll continue to be friends, even if we are living on different continents. I spent a couple hours with the WW sisters then they took me to a church and dropped me off so I could go to Mission Council. I got assigned to spend the day with a sister who’s companion flew out as well and she was under the impression that I was leaving PTC for good and we were becoming legit companions. She tried packing up my stuff for me and my heart was being shredded. I didn't know what to do. I had no clue I'd be leaving PTC, but I guess it was just a big misunderstanding because we both would be receiving new companions. We finally got 2 new temple square missionaries and we all had connections!!!! Her name is Sister Rebekah Mahoney from Nova Skotia Canada. She knew Amanda Echols in Canada and also, she taught one of my recent converts from SLC who I taught here in WW and so we knew each other through the phone before in person! Whaaaa? AND, her other temple square companion was freaking out when she met me because she taught a Tori in the TKN who was referred by one of the recent converts here who Brooke taught! Holy guacamole! It's such a small world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We got to walk on the glorious golf cart paths and I felt like I was in heaven! I stood on the infamous bridge that shattered my elbow and of course, I forgot my camera. But, the emotions were there. It was a sacred moment. I got bit by a snake and it only caught the edge of the soul of my shoe. Thank goodness. I'm pretty sure I screamed like a little girl. haha I got so tan too! I LOVE YOU MORE THAN THE AMOUNT OF GRAINS OF SAND ON THE BEACHES!!!!! Mom: HAHAHAHAHAHA. Brooke's a babe! Who WOULDN"T want to hit on her? Ha. I love how she totally owned her homecoming talk. I'm proud of her! Have you been able to meet Dutra yet? Have you been up to Temple Square? you need to go! Has Brooke met Aldous yet? Dad: Why do you call me Jackie Chan? Ha. I'm so confused. I can't believe Linda and Bishop Stoner have cancer!!!!!!!!!!! NO!!! Give them both my love! I can't believe it! I'm so sorry to hear that. "Stellar spirits are often housed in imperfect bodies" ~Elder Russell M. Nelson Jennifer: What business are you starting? I haven't heard anything about it. What are you doing? Kevin: Thanks for your weekly sentence, it makes me feel loved. Ha. Brooke: HAHAHAHAHA You stud you! Of course everyone to the moon and back flirts with you, you're adorable! I'm so happy we're twins! I got all the brains and you got all the looks! ha! Thanks for all the pics, it was so cool to see all the pics of you with everyone, you look waaaaay older from the last time I saw you. I probably look old too I guess. RANDOMNESS: ***Sis M and I were at a less active's house. This lady just complains about her health and the weather...... the room was so warm and the couch was so soft and slowly, we both fell asleep. I woke up with a shocked look on my face so I looked down at my watch to see how long I was asleep and it was for 15 minutes! Sis M and I were just smooshed together and asleep on each other! And what's so funny is that the lady was still talking for that whole 15 minutes! hahaha *** I got a mild concussion from all my passing out last week, it's nothing to worry about, but it definitely explains my thought patterns lately. *** My comp is fluent in French because that's her first language. We were at a Russian member's house and I was trying to say 'I love you" to the family in Russian because they had taught it to me the week before. Sis M was dying because I accidently swore in French. The whole family erupted in laughter and they looked like they were all going to pee their pants! I was so embarrassed because the dad of the family is most likely going to be a prophet in the future. It's an amazing family and I swore at them!!!!!!!!! *** I never heard the rule: don't put a knife in the toaster...... so, this morning, sis M couldn’t' get her bread out because it was so small so I grabbed a knife and was going to help her.... I got the shock of my life. I for sure, thought my hand was going to explode. I felt the biggest shock shoot up my hand and land in my armpit. ha. I had to lay on the ground for a couple minutes because I felt like my armpit was on fire. *** my hand and arm started having some numb spells again this week and there was one time that we were at a member's house and all of the sudden, I looked down, and their baby was biting my arm! I couldn't feel it! When we removed his teeth from my skin, I had the deepest bite mark and couldn't feel a thing! The poor little guy was teething so he needed something to bite, my arm just happened to have been available. Ha LOVE YOU BYE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE YOU MORE THAN CANIBALS LOVE TOES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brooke 3.7.2015 Homecoming Talk

Brooke gave a wonderful delightful fun talk on Sunday all about Baptism. She loves her mission and of course is a pro at talking about Baptism. We had an Open house following Sacrament. Lots of friends and family came for the talk and then came over for food.

Sister Erin 3.02.2015

I had such a bad sickness!!! We were with a member at an investigator's house and we were standing in the kitchen, having a great time and sharing spiritual experiences..... when all of the sudden, I leaned up against their counter. Then, I slowly melted and passed out. All the people with me caught me and stood me back up. I quickly asked if I could use her bathroom and she showed me where it was.... once I got to the bathroom, I passed out again. I had locked the door behind me so nobody could even get in to help me. When I woke up, I stood up and looked into the mirror.... Holy cow, I looked like death. I was so pale!! And I had the biggest red mark along the side of my head. When I stood up, I passed out AGAIN!!!!! Then, I picked myself off of the floor and had the biggest red mark under my eye and then... I PASSED OUT AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After that, I decided it was probably best that I just lay on the floor like a dead fish, so I did. I just laid on the floor, covered in dog hair and feeling weak. Have you ever seen Monster's Inc? I probably looked like Sully when he was watching the trash be chopped up. I just kept passing out! haha. When I gathered myself together, I walked out and went and sat on the couch, we then headed to a member's house to get a blessing and that night, I got a fever of 103 degrees! I was soooooo sick! I'm sooooo sad! Dutra is leaving me this week!!! I guess I'm going to be in a trio for a day when she leaves so I can pick up my companion from the airport. Wha?? I'm getting a brand spankin' new companion! From the airport, we'll head straight to mission council to learn how to train our comrades for this week's upcoming zone conferences. I'm training and being an STL???? Is that even possible! Holy smokes, I need your prayers now more than ever! It's crazy times and I'm so nervous! Going from a shy little tyke to a bold missionary takes a TON of courage and work! I've never felt more alive! I never realized how much I actually like talking to people. Ha. This week, when I was sick, the Doc was kinda making fun of me because he said, "Sister Echols, I've never known you to be so quiet!" Hahahaha. I guess I'm loud now! I guess I like to talk! I guess I'll never be shy again! Huzzah! I seriously cannot believe Brookelyn got home!!!!!! Yay! She'll do great! I LOVE YOU MORE THAN JELLY FISH LOVE TO STING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love, Your Official Favorite Missionary. HAHA! Mom: Brooke's pics look great. Everyone looks so healthy and I'm so happy! I'm so happy you have a girl back home to help you battle them boiz! Dad: I love how you always tell me about the car and I have no clue what you're saying. It makes me happy to see how much you love fixing stuff up! This car lingo is all Greek to me. Jennifer: You got to go see Brooke come home? Yay! I'm so happy for you! I'm also so happy that she got to meet your daughter! I'm excited to meet her one day! Kevin: Oh my heck..... I can't believe you were a clown!!! hahahaha. I just got told by my ward mission leader that I shouldn't only write for Studio C, but that I should be on it. Ha. I knew what he was talking about because I learned about it last week! Brooke: Oh my goodness oh my goodness oh my goodness oh my goodness oh my goodness oh my goodness oh my goodness oh my goodness oh my goodness oh my goodness oh my goodness oh my goodness oh my goodness oh my goodness oh my goodness oh my goodness oh my goodness oh my goodness oh my goodness oh my goodness oh my goodness oh my goodness oh my goodness oh my goodness oh my goodness YOU'RE HOME!!!!!!!!!!!! RANDOMNESS: ***I met a German old man and he was sitting down on a bench at a park. I asked if we could teach him and he said, only if you know a phrase in German. What???? I mustered all my courage and said a phrase that I thought was German, he died of laughter and literally tipped over the bench. He accepted to be taught and we referred him to missionaries close to his home. I kept asking him what the phrase I said was and he couldn't even speak, he just kept laughing. Last night, we had dinner with our ward mission leader who is from Germany. I asked him the phrase and I guess I told an old German guy sitting on a bench that I loved him! Hahaha. No worries! I flirted with a drunk old German! ha! ***I passed out several times at an investigator's house, and also.... at church. TWICE! Thank goodness I was sitting down, because from what people tell me, they said I was just listening to the lesson and all of a sudden, I humped over and melted in my seat. They picked me up and sat me up straight, and I woke up and didn't even know anything had happened. When Dutra asked me about it, I was sooooo confused. Ha. Thank goodness I'm better now! ***after being sick, I finally got my strength back and I'm acting like myself again. Yay! ***I learned how to bare my testimony in Portuguese! For sure when I come home, I'll study Spanish, Portuguese, and Mandarin Chinese! I love languages!!!! And I'll travel to all sorts of different countries!!!! ***I rediscovered my love for apples this week, lately, I can't get enough of them. I'm pretty sure I'm keeping Washington in service for how many apples I eat. Ha. Love em! ***I accidently hugged our stake president yesterday!!! I was going down the line, giving all our sisters hugs and President Haskin slipped in there and I wasn't thinking. I gave him a hug and everyone gasped. I took a huge step back and he just laughed. I'm pretty sure I blushed because it was so funny and embarrassing! I just hugged a stake President!!!!!!!!!! He laughed and walked back to his office and left me flabbergasted in the lobby. Ha ***I might have a slight concussion from hitting my head so many times. Haha. ***Also...God be with you 'til we meet again. I LOVE YOU MORE THAN MICHAEL PHELPS LOVES GOLD MEDALS!!!!! QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS FOR THE WEEK: 1. What has been your biggest challenge this week? I was soooo sick that I couldn't even leave the apartment for a couple of days 2. SISTER BROOKE IS HOME 2.26.2015

Despite the weather and all the flight changes and plane transfers....she is HOME!!!!
Former Mission President and Sister Irion with Brooke.
Mr. Dace Face is happy to have his aunty back home.
Funny Story....When Brooke and the other 6 missionaries landed in New York City, they had an hour and a half layover, so they decided to leave the airport and get some food. When they came back they hadn't taken into consideration that they would have to go back through security....well needless to say, they almost missed their flight. Their names were being called over the loudspeaker because their plane was waiting for them. They almost spent more time in NY then they anticipated. They were able to see the Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan from the air coming into the city and then again leaving. While sitting on the tarmac they had to have the airplane de-iced because they froze up and lost all power in the plane. This delayed the flight by 45 minutes, but they made it out of the city soon.

Leaving Tennessee 2.26.2015

At the Mission Home and then the Airport.
Snow that morning...
Airport with her adopted 'Sisters and mother'. They said..."We didn't want sis. Echols to leave" and "We're basically sisters. We love sis. Echols"
