(SISTER MESSER-my new COMPANION!!!...Planking in air!...Sister Hatch...Still doin' hair!... I found Sis Eckman at transfers!...Tape facial hair with Jonet.) Well, Sister Hatch got transferred, and my new companion is Sister Messer from Modesto California. She's been out for 6 months and she just came from... GEORGIA!!! Lucky girl! She is going to be prophet's wife someday. Seriously. She's so great and we get along splendidly! It was so funny, yesterday, she said that she wishes she was artistic, so I told her that she's a "walking master piece." She was like, "because of my parents!" We both just bust up laughing!! It was so funny! Our investigator, Linda, told us that she wants to drink one last time at her Bday party coming up. She said she was going to get wasted. We told her, that as a recovering alcoholic, that's NOT a good idea. We told her to go get something else to drink like DR Pepper or Coke or something. This week, she told us that she has a surprise for us. She brought out two large bottles of sparkling Cherry-limeade!!!! She listened! She's going to drink that instead of alcohol on her Bday! HAHAHAHA! We are trying to help her quit smoking, so we took one of her cigarette boxes and decorated it all cute with paper, pictures of Jesus and President Monson. Inside, we made 20 "Cigarettes." They are strips of paper with scriptures written on them, rolled up like a cigarette, and taped a ton! Every time she wants a cigarette, she gets a Scripturette and has to unwrap all the tape without ripping the scripture so she can read it. By the time she reads it, she forgot she wants a cigarette. She told us that it was working, but sometimes, it makes her want to smoke even more because she gets frustrated. HAHA! Oh, well. You can't win 'em all! I learned this week, that we have TONS of Himalayen (I don't know how to spell it) Possums around here. Usually, that's all you see. It's because they are all road kill, so you see it and say, "Look! Him-A-Layen' " Do you get it?? I thought it was really funny when Sister Messer told me it. This week was an adjustment week because Sister Messer came in and we're still getting used to it. SHE'S AWESOME! I love you more than Chick-Fil-A loves cows! Crazy story about the special fast yesterday!!!!! Our ward's fast Sunday was yesterday and I fasted for Erin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can you believe it??? I am so happy that even though I didn't know about it, I was still able to join in! What a tender mercy! Mom: I am writing you a letter. I write a little every week. Luckily, Sister Messer likes to write letters and so we are going to take time to do it every pday. They might be getting lost in the mail or something. Haha! I love seeing pictures from way back when! Blast from the past! Our family is so cute. :) Dad: Thanks for the news! I'm so happy that I got to join in the fast for Erin! I wish President Irion knew about it, so our whole mission could fast too. How has not-being-Bishop been? Do you feel more rested? Do you like sitting in the Pews? Do you like going home after church on Sunday? :) CFFE!!!! (Celestial families for ever!) Michael: You and Anna are so cute together!! When's her birthday? I want to send her a card, I hope I haven't missed it. Thanks for the pictures too! You're new job is not something I would EVER go into, but that's just me. But I hope it's the kind of job that you like. :) Kevin: You're email must have not sent again. Well, till next week.... LOVE YOU~ I hear you did great on your talk! Das ma boi!! Jen: Thank you for writing me!! I don't care if it's short... it means a lot when you do. :) love ya! Mom....I'm not training, but I'm senior comp... and the driver. This is not me writing you back, this is just me finishing my email. Being a missionary is the hardest, funnest, saddest, happiest, most stressful, blissful, crazy thing I've ever done in my life. And it's worth every minute of it. I found out that in Brevard, Jeff (recent convert) is leaving the church, Austin (recent convert) has fallen off the face of the earth, Pearce family blocked the missionaries' number/won't respond. (They will always have a spot in my heart. They are my friends always, whether members or not). CRAZY! At least I know that I did all that I could have done. I did my part. The rest was in Sis P's hands, and it's not my fault. All I can say is that I did my best, and that's all the Lord asks. I can't wait to see you again! P.S. I've got my humor back since I was with Sister Hatch and now with Sister Messer! I'm hilarious again! HOORAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Zip-a-dee-do-daaaaaa!

(Always a Goofball and looks like she has a partner in Crime...Jessica Michelle, Atlanta Temple with Companions, Sister Ellis and I, Mikayla (ward member) and Me at Physical Therapy, This is our fish bowl, last night with Sister Aldous who is being transferred, us at the temple, ATL temple). Dearest Mom, This week was a great week. I've still had to sleep in until 9 each day because the meds don't let me wake up, so it's actually kind of nice sleeping in for once. I never knew how much I'd miss it. haha. We had really cool meeting up in ATL with all the stake presidents, the Atlanta missionary leadership council (us), Pres. and Sis Harding, and Elder Parker of the seventy. This was the first meeting in history where they included the mission council in this meeting. It was really weird missing church for it. I never thought that I would miss a Sunday on my mission. Haha. And President told me that the whole mission was fasting for me. And all the stake presidents and my PTC ward and my ward back home and my family and a few general authorities too. It was really cool. Even those in the meeting who didn't know me, were praying for me. Lets just say, that I felt incredibly loved. President had to put together a PowerPoint slide in the meeting and he didn't have enough time so he called on me and sis Ellis to improvise for a few minutes so he could have time. We did what we were asked and it went sooooo incredibly smooth. Elder parker of the 70 said that we worked like a well oiled machine. It was soooo cool. After the meeting, they kept saying that if sisters were AP's I would be one of them. Haha. It was so cool that everyone was fasting for me. I hope I get to stay here, but if not, I hope I can accept God's will and be able to come back. I'm honestly sooooo scared about this. Since I missed church and transfers were last week, the whole ward thought that I had been transferred and everyone was in tears when I showed up for the last part of it. they had all thought that I was gone and they were devastated. I got soooo many hugs that day because everyone was fasting for me and they were also so happy that I hadn't gone. Haha. I really felt loved. This week we had the cool opportunity. And we got to find a family by miracle. We found them on Friday, they came to the women's broadcast on Saturday, and they came to church on Sunday and they want to be baptized! Holy smokes! I'll keep you updated on them. I LOVE YOU ALL MORE THAN SOUTHERNERS LOVE FRIED CHICKEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fasting for Erin on Sunday 3.30.2014

Dear family & friends, 5 months ago, my daughter, Erin, was in a bicycle accident on her mission. She fractured her wrist, her ulna, and her elbow in her right arm. The bones have healed, but there was nerve damage in the area of her elbow which has continued to cause her a lot of pain, much of the feeling in her hand, and some of the use of her arm. In a discussion with her Mission President yesterday he indicated the Church Missionary Dept. is very concerned about her and considering whether or not to send her home. The Atlanta Georgia Mission, as well as our family will be fasting this Sunday asking that the Lords will may be done in her behalf, and petitioning His blessings. I am sending this to you to invite you to join with us if you would like to, and remember her in your prayers. Thanks for your love and support. Sincerely, Scott Echols & Family

Brooke News 3.24.2014

HI FAMILY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry, no pictures this week...my computer won't recognize my camera. :( At least you'll see all of my pics in 11 months!!!!!! :):):) This week, we got the dreaded call that sister Hatch is leaving. :( I've been with her for less than one transfer (because I got snowed in in North Carolina for 3 days). Sad day. I hope I have a cool comp this next transfer. Elder Rayburn is being transferred too. Other than that, our district isn't being moved around too much. I haven't had ANY time to write letters!! I really miss it. It's not that I just am lazy... we literally are out and about EVERY PDAY doing things. I try to write a little bit every week, but we're only allowed to write on Pday, so that limits my writing ability A LOT. I had a super weird experience this week. Ryan was given anti-Mormon stuff and he was really frustrated/confused about it. I told him that I figured out why the scriptures talk about vineyards a lot. I told him that we were part of the Lord's vineyard. And I said, "Ryan, if you want to go looking for dirt, you're going to find it... but you're missing the fruit that's right in front of you." His, sister Hatch's and our member's jaws just dropped. I was so BOLD!!!!! BOOM BABY!!!!!!!! He said that it made sense and he could see that he was choosing to be blind and ignore the fruit of the gospel. BOOYA! Erin would be proud. We went and got haircuts with Elders Mumm and Parkinson today... we didn't get haircuts... just them. The lady who cut their hair is VERY flirty and they wanted us to come as a precaution. :):):) Call me Agent Echols. (That's Dad's title.) It was great. She didn't expect us to come, so she was disappointed that she didn't get alone time with the elders. hehehe...#sinisterlaugh. It was great though. Their hair looked like GQ status. It looked good. We had church on Sunday (obviously) and Cailey came!! She's living with one of our Less-active members and she dragged him a long. He came up to me after Sacrament and said, "Sister Echols, I've got some homework for you... I couldn't hear a word during that meeting because I felt so strongly that I had to talk to you... you can help me. I need you to help me figure out what's wrong. I only have one concern about the church. I think the Bible was written by men... and that a lot of people are being led astray by it. I felt impressed that you could help me figure it out." !!!!!!!!!!! He told me to find what I could and the next time I came over with my new comp, we would talk. WHO JUST TELLS YOU STRAIGHT OUT THEIR CONCERN!?!?! That doesn't happen in missionary life! It did on Sunday! I love you more than bread loves carbs!!!! Dad: I know how you hate wind. Sorry this is short!, I'm out of time! Mom: Thanks so much for the updates!! You're the best! Michael: I LOVED THE PICS!! Send more!~! Kevin: my answers... 1. (Do you think fish get thirsty?)No, because they drink water all day long 2. (Do you think Adam and Eve have Bellybuttons?)Yes????? I have NO clue!! That's a great question! 3. (What is your favorite candy?)I love sourpatch watermelons... delish! 4. (What is your favorite fruit?)Strawberries....yum! 5. (What was your favorite class?) I loved Seminary, P.E. and Biology. my questions... 1. What is your favorite quote? 2. If you had to choose between summer heat or rain, what would you choose? 3. If you could live anywhere with everyone you love, where would you go? 4. Who is your favorite Book of Mormon person? 5. Explain your fat Australian dream. Jen: The pictures of Dace Face are super cute! He makes the most adorable leprechaun ever!!!!!!! You did well. :)

Erin News 3.24.2014

Erin didn't send blog news because of needing to talk to Me (Mom). She had a three hour meeting/interview with her Mission President. They are probably needing to send her home to have doctors take care of her arm. She has been to Medical Doctors, Physical Therapy, Pain Clinic and taking tons of medication. Nothing is helping with the pain. Don't be surprised if she shows up here in Orem soon. I Got the Blog News: Dear Mom, I love it when you count down.... it shows me that I'm not actually stranded in a timeless world of work, sweat, and a whole lot of humidity. It shows me that time is passing. It's very sad that that person's house blew up... to be honest, I kind of laughed until you said that it was an old lady in a wheel chair and I could see her wheel chair in the pictures. Hey, I may be a missionary, but I'm not a saint!!!!! Those pictures of Dace Face are adorable, he's definitely born to be a model! Just look at the ways he's posing! He seriously has gotten so big! How much does he weigh now? 22 pounds instead of 20? :) This week I found out something I've wondered my whole life! I'm ADHD! I was analyzed my the whole southern states missions psychologist! I passed the test by 80%. I didn't know that that was a positive thing. How do you feel knowing that you have a mentally insane daughter? lol. That's ok... at least I still have my looks. :) I was amazed when the doc told me the results and I was kind of in denial, but I've come to accept it (because now I have a reason for all my looniness). When I came back to the apartment and told Sister Aldous the news, she said that it didn't shock her. HAHA! Only a true friend would ever tell me that. Also, I've become REALLY good friends with some of the laurels in the ward like Jessica, Mikayla, and Chastity. I don't feel like I'm 3 years older than them, I feel like we're the same age. haha. It's kind of like I feel like us and Heather are the same age too. Sorry if I sound super random, you know how my brain works. Speaking of Brian, how is he and Jennifer? I never hear from either of them ever. You'd think that they'd notice we're gone remember that their litter sisters are on the other side of the country serving the lord.... :/ Well, I love you all more than tree's love photosynthesis!

St. Patrick's Day 3.17.2014

Happy St. Patrick's Day Feeling a little "Over the Hedge" with Erin's turtle and Brooke's Possum! Is it playing Dead? Read on....

Brooke News 3.17.2014

(Service with a smile!...Me and Sister Hatch with 3 recent converts(Sydney, Poppy, and Bella)...I thought I hit a cat, guess again...I'm not sure how to explain this one) Hi Familia! How goes it fools??? JK. This week was swell. (Erin will appreciate that I used "swell" in a sentence.) I went on an exchange to Kingsport with Sister Camie Manwill from California. She's 26 and a pro-volleyball player. She's 6'1"!!! Talk about making me feel like a midget. We met with Sydney and Ryan together this week. Our bishop was in the building and we told them to go talk to him about what they need to do to go to the temple. Next thing we know, he pulls them in one by one and Sydney came out with a Temple Recommend and Ryan is preparing to receive the priesthood next week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What just happened?!? ndzf;lj BAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! This just happened!!! I was sitting at this computer in one of those office rolling chairs, when all of a sudden, my chair dropped to the lowest height. I literally felt like I was falling, so I just yelled in the middle of the library. AWKWARD. It was like I got a "kick" from the movie Inception. Craziness!! That WOULD happen to me. :):):):) This week, we were on a team up with Sydney and we were speeding. I felt like I should tell her to slow down, but then I decided not to because I hate backseat drivers. All of a sudden, an undercover cop is behind us and WOOP WOOPs us. So, we pull over, and he walks up to the car and asks "How old is everyone in the car?" We tell him, 22, 20 and 19. He asks again how old I am(he didn't believe me!) so we tell him. He asks us all for our ID. He takes all of them and goes back to his car. He ran checks on our ID! I think he thought they were kidnapping me or something. He came back 10 minutes later and I watched in awe as Sydney talked her way out of getting a ticket. She was so smooth with her words. She was going 50 in a 30 mph zone. I was shocked that she was able to weasel her way out of it. Nuts! We had stake conference this weekend! It was great! Elder Zwick from the seventy came to speak to us. He is awesome! I love general authorities because they radiate the Spirit. He shook Ryan's hand and it was great. We sat down and I told Ryan "I've always heard that when a General Authority shakes your hand and looks into your eyes, that he's measuring your light." He asked what that meant, but the meeting started, so I told him that we would talk afterwards. When Elder Zwick was speaking, he said, "and to our new member Ryan... Ryan, you have the light. I can see it in you." !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What the??? I literally just told Ryan about Light and then so did Elder Zwick. Everyone sitting around me just turned to stare at me. Crazy! I love you more than Cops love Doughnuts! Mom: Thanks for the baby pics!!! We were so cute! and Fat!! I miss Spring Cleaning! I never thought I would say that, but I really do! It sounds like you and Kevin made Headway on the yard. I'm stoked/sad for Michael and Anna's wedding. I'm stoked because Michael deserves the best, and I'm sad that I'm missing it. Oh well, what's a little sacrifice for the Lord? Dad: I'm stoked for your letter! I got your last one a couple days ago! I also got a card from mom and 2 letters from erin in one day! Our mail moves a little slow here in Tennessee. I can't wait to hear what you learned about the dead sea scrolls! I'm stoked! Michael: PICUTRES OF MONTANA/ YOU AND ANNA! You say you don't like to type things out, so you can send me pictures of your adventures. GENIUS! If you move up to Montana, you have to promise to let me stay with you sometimes. Kevin: My answers... 1) The funniest moment in me life... I can't pick one... I'm just a funny person. JK. I would have to say the time I got my Wisdom teeth out and flirted with you and Michael!!! 2) I would make WORLD PEACE a law. :) 3) Satan, Lucifer, and the Devil. I would want to kick him in the face...if he had one. HAHAHA 5) I want to receive Eternal life. I also want to figure out what my future will be. I have no clue yet. 6) I would invite John Wayne for Dad, William Shakespeare, and the Brother of Jared. 7) I remember Grandpa Messick. I also remember Jen's 11th birthday party. 8) I would want to go see the world... save a life...and be Christ-like. AND meet Gerard Butler. 9) Food. Nuff said. 10) Pirates... duh. They are the coolest dudes EVA! Jack Sparrow, Will Turner, Elizabeth Swann. :):):):):) My questions... 1) What is your favorite drink? 2) If you could create a world, what would it look like? 3) If you were a fish, what would you look like? 4) If you could help any continent, what would it be? 5) What is your biggest dream? 6) If you went to the prophet and asked him one question, what would it be? 7) If you were given the chance to trade places with one person for a day, who would you choose? Jen: I found a future wife for Dace!! Her name is Rylie. :) SUPER CUTE! She has dark brown hair and dark brown eyes. I'll try to get a pic of her. She's a few months older than him, but it would be great!

Erin News 3.17.2014

(Dinner at the Whidfeldt's. Sister Echols and Sister Sister Laser (my MTC comp), Echols and Ellis, We found a turtle. I was on exchanges with Sister Laser) Dearest famillia, This week was craaaaazy slow. I think it has something to do with my drugs. I've had to sleep in until at least 9 o’clock each morning because I literally cannot wake up. The drugs just knock me out. I act drunk all day long and the days just drag when I feel like this. The Solorio's baptism was supposed to be on Saturday at 4 and we were so excited for it. But you know how Satan works.... exactly 1 hour before the baptism he jumped in the way and we had to cancel. It was so heart breaking. I was broken after that. My eyes teared up many times throughout the day. Julia and 3 of her 4 daughters were set for baptism. Even they were distraught. It was very hard day for everybody. And practically the whole ward was going to come because they all love the Solorios so we had to call everybody and tell them not to come. It was so heartbreaking. I needed a Mom hug and Shannon was nowhere to be seen so Sister Leavitt gave me a really good Mom hug. It was well needed. We had the cool opportunity to do something that I can't remember at this time. I'll try to remember and tell you next week. haha. #BlessMyHeart. Every week we have a missionary correlation at the Wheatley's home and I don't know what's wrong with me, but I'm absolutely hilarious. I swear, anything I say, everybody cracks up laughing. Even if I'm not even trying to be funny, i guess it's just in my nature. haha. One time, people choked on their food and spewed it all over because they were laughing so hard. Haha. Our new WML Bro Roggermeier and Bro Wheatley kept saying that I crack them up. And basically everybody I meet says that I'm the funniest person they've ever met. It must be my humor mixed with the drugs. Wow. I wonder what I'll act like when I get home. haha I can’t wait!!!!!! Well, I love you all more than the guy next to me playing a computer game likes to add commentary to his game. Haha I lOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love you more than Catholics love Mother Mary!

(Ryan's baptism with Brother Abbott, Ryan and the Abbott Family) I LOVE BAPTISMS!!! I don't remember if I told you... last week, my district leader asked me to give a training on addictions at our next district meeting. I did it and our zone leaders liked it so well, that they called me on Friday after our district meeting and asked me to give another training in our zone conference on Wednesday! !!!! I'm so nervous!! My last training was so random, so I've decided to make this one random too. I'm going to liken referrals to shoes. I'll let you know how it goes! Ryan and Shannon (the elders' investigator) both got baptized on Saturday!! When we got to the church to set up, our zone leaders told us that President and Sister Irion were on their way! CRAZY! Sister Hatch and I did a musical number (EVERY BODY CRIED DURING IT!!!) and we taught the Restoration. Ryan wanted to do something nice for us, so he brought us energy drinks. HAHAHAHAHA! He's so funny! I LOVE SISTER HATCH! She's so great. I can just be weird with her and she still loves me. My 7 month birthday is this week!! When I reach 9 months, I'll be considered 'old.' We had a major lightening and thunder storm. It was so crazy that the house started shaking!! I thought we were going to die. Not really, but you get my drift.Oh my gosh! I almost forgot!!! I love you more than trees love their buds!!!!!!!!!! Dad: I haven't got your letter yet, but it's the thought that counts! How is church sitting in the audience? Weird? The wedding turned out GORGEOUS!! Everyone did really well! I really like that poem! (southerners call it a POIM... like OINK) I've realized how much I don't like excuses. I get really annoyed when people start listing off reasons of why they didn't do this or that. It's frustrating sometimes. Oh well, life as a missionary. Mom: You and Dad did so well on the wedding! Aren't you loving this spring weather?!?! Thanks for the pictures and news. I really love it. 1000 bucks? WOW. You make me feel POOR. ahah. Jen is SOOOO allergic to cats. Poor thing. I miss setting up for weddings. and eating hot burritos at four in the morning. It's just a matter of 342 days apparently. Then, we'll be able to do it again. Michael: Keiji's a zone leader!?!? He's the best! Keep me updated on more news, because as a returned missionary, you know how much missionaries love news and details and anything. Kevin: I love the smell of rain and also cut grass. I love it when the sun is warm on your skin. I don't like it when people make excuses for why they don't come to church. I still love movies, music, and crazy family members. I have a hard time waking up in the mornings. Sometimes, I wink at babies to make them smile. Whenever we go to the store, I always smell the candles. Jen: Thank you thank you thank you for the pics!! I loved them! All except your swollen eye one. It's crazy how allergic you are to cats. Are you doing better now? You looked miserable in the picture. :( You should find that cat's social security number and Brooke Da Boss will take care of it. hahah. Dace is such a ham!

(At the Pain clinic, Solorio familia, Sister Andersen and I, Sister Ellis and me, Sister Bryant,Orem High buds,BEST TRIO EVA) Dearesest family. This week I got to go to the pain clinic in Atlanta and they are trying some different medications and I hope it works. I'm a little loopy and crazy, I can't walk straight and I ran into a tree yesterday. I also ran into cars and people. It’s a good thing that the mission won't let me drive anymore. haha. We got to have a special meeting with all the missionaries in our mission in the north mission with elder Quentin l Cook. I kept my eye out for Elder Messick but I didn’t see him. Elder Cook was very inspired and he is a good speaker too. He left an apostolic blessing which is like him laying his hands on our heads individually and giving us each a blessing. We had a stake conference with him to the next day. We got the Solorio family to come and also Cardell came at the very end. He's been investigating the church for 14 years. We thought this would’ve helped him to get baptized, but he missed the whole thing. I thought all hope was lost until Elder Cook asked for a meeting with him. Cardell went and he had an interview with an apostle. Cardell came out a few minutes later flabbergasted and we're having a lesson with him today. I'm excited. The Solorio family is being baptized this Saturday and they have asked for Bishop Corbridge to baptize them. It'll be so special. ON Sunday, we ran out of gas and couldn't break the Sabbath to buy some more, so we called Brother Leavitt and he sent Evan his son to save us. I'm glad that we had somebody break the Sabbath for us. Haha. #lifeofamissionary. We ate lunch with the Lakes (a missionary senior couple) and they took us to Waffle house for waffles. As we were leaving, Sister Ellis spilled her water all over Sister Lake and it drenched her. hahahahaha, it was ice water too. It nearly filled up her purse. Sister Ellis felt so bad and I couldn't stop laughing. Sister Lake then said, I’ve already been baptized. That one threw me over the cliff. I bust up laughing and I couldn’t breathe it was so funny. It’s now an inside joke between all of us. Well, I love you all, more than dragons love to breathe fire! HAHA.

(The Roner's (served with Brooke),Masks and a sleepover with Sisters Joseph and Thornock, Sister Echols and Libres, A summer lunch, Sister Andersen and Echols, More Masks with a sleepover) Dearest familia, This week was great! I got to meet the Roner's and they know Brooke. We could have talked for hours about Brooke and I would have been just fine with that. They were amazed at how much Brooke and I are alike. They're like, "Yep, they're definitely twins!" Haha. They're great! We've been teaching the Solorio familia and they're incredible. They're planning on getting baptized on the 15th. And I really think this one is going to work out. People in the ward keep telling me how their daughters idolize me. They will tell me how sad they’ll be when I get transferred. I'll definitely have to come back and visit. Did you get my letter I sent last week? The weather here has been more bipolar than Utah's weather. One day, it'll be 80 degrees and sunny and then a few hours later, it drops 40 degrees and it pours rain. We got interviewed by president last week and he didn't have time for me, so he interviewed me over the phone. He told me that I am one of the strongest missionaries he's ever known. He said that if any other missionary had broken their arm and had this kind of consistent pain for even a month, they would have been disobedient to the rules or and gone home. I've had this for 5 months and it blows his mind. When I go to PT tomorrow, that'll be my 50th visit there. WOW. I'm going to the Emory Pain clinic on Wednesday and they’ll try to figure out something to do with me. This week, a plane crashed and killed some people in our ward. The funeral was the best one I've ever been to. It was very powerful. Our bishop is a bomb. He's incredible; I can see him becoming the next prophet. Also, the Atlanta stake president was called to be a general authority. It's pretty awesome. Thank you everyone for writing me and emailing me, I swear, that is the only way I'll get through this. But hey! I have less than a year to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HUZZAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love you all more than fat loves to cry (sweat)!!!!!!!!!!!! (Erin and Mom Conversation) Erin: How are you Mom? Who is getting married that you are going to do a reception for them? Mom: I am good. Same old. But....loving spring in the air. Dad’s friend at work, his daughter is getting married. Dad told them about my business. Erin: I wish I could be there to help out. I absolutely love staying up late in a church and getting spicy burritos. Mom: We made some good memories didn't we. Some things are just made more fun by the things we do. Those are good times. Erin: Ya, those are really good times. God knew that we couldn't be sisters because that would have driven Grandma Bodily crazy, so he made us mom and daughters. Even better. Mom: That is Right....we will forever be best friends. Erin: LOVE SPRING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I really wish I could enjoy the spring air and spend some time relaxing in the sun. Missionary work is literally 24/7. How is it with dad not being bishop? Mom: He is hanging around the house a LOT more. He is bored out of his mind. Need to find something to do besides restoring the car. Erin: Maybe, when I get home, I'll work to save a bunch of money and blow it on the coasts of Australia. :D That'd be something for him to do. Haha, and you'll have to come too. Mom: Sounds like a Great Plan to me. But maybe Disneyland is more obtainable when you get back???? Erin: YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I could live there! I honestly am terrified to finish my mission. Then I'll have to be a real adult. I'll have to get a job, go to college, tell people I'm engaged so I don't have to go on dates, and act my age. Wow, Mom, I'm not ready. I must have a brain condition or something because my brain is not getting any older. Mom: Na....you don't have to be an adult until at least 6 months after you get home. You don't have to be ready yet. I will still take care of you. Erin: Do you think something's wrong with me? I told my mission president how it says in my patriarchal blessing that "in due time" I'll want to find an eternal spouse, and I told him that I just can't get married.... Alex and everything. He understands and told me that all my blessings aren't going to be fulfilled in this life, I could even get married in the next life. Phew! I hope that's the case, so he'll be perfect. Haha Mom: I don't think anything is wrong with you. You are who You are. Erin!!!!, Yes the next life will be more fun. You are going to find Mr. right sometime. When you are ready. Erin: Well, my computer is going to kick me off, but I'll talk to you to the end. If it turns off... I love you more than mermaids love to swim! Thank you for supporting me and for loving me for who I am. Mom, you are my best friend. You and Brooke are the people who have stuck with me through everything. I love you soooo much. Mom: I love you too sweet baby girl.

(Me and Sister Weirich(sister eckman's last comp!)... da district!...We are the muses...now the Elders are the muses... an enchanted castle, Sisters Echols and Hatch) Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey familia!! This week was really average. We went to the Abbott's house last night for YSA and for the CES fireside! Ryan came to it! Ryan's baptism is this Saturday!!! Last night at the Abbott's, he asked Brother Abbott if he would baptize him, so they practiced the DUNK!!!! It was great to see! I was jumping around... I'M SO EXCITED! We also went and visited the elder's investigator who is also getting baptized this Saturday... we're having a double baptism. Her name is Shannon and we went and talked to her about her baptism and how she felt about it. She's stoked and is super excited to get the gift of the Holy Ghost. It's so weird being in the same area with other missionaries because I'm so used to being alone in an entire county. Ryan was invited to have dinner with his anti-Mormon friend tonight and he asked us if we could meet with him afterwards. He trusts us so much that he wants to keep us updated on everything that happens. He's not going to let anything keep him away from what he knows is right... awesome, right? He's the greatest! Last P-day, we went with our whole district to see an abandoned castle! We took some pretty fun pictures. All of the pictures I sent with this email are from it. It was awesome! I love having more sisters in our district. We have 3 sets of sisters and only 2 sets of elders! It's the BEST! How has everyone is Orem been? Is it warm there yet? I'm tired of the wet and cold... I want some dry heat. It's just a matter of time until humid summer is here! Hooray! I can't wait! I love you more than Mom loved Harrison Ford!!!!!!! #ilovehowerinstilluseshashtags #snap #ijusthashtaggedabouthashtagging #thug Dad: I can't wait to get your letter in the mail! What do you do now that you're not bishop anymore? Are you bored out of your mind? I know that you always have to stay busy or else you get antsy, so what do you do? :) Mom: Beryl looks like fun! You should keep a list of movies that I need to see when I get back... :) Haha. How did the wedding turn out? Pics? Less than a year 'til our joyous reunion! Woop woop! Kevin: 1) Quest? I don't know what that means, but it reminds me of when we used to play "Gauntlet" on the computer... 2) My favorite color is Gold (because it sparkles!) 3) I would be able to breath under water! 4) I like it when the sun is sitting on the mountain as it sets because everything is turned an orangey color. 5) I want to get married in the Salt Lake City temple, hopefully in the millennium to a stripling warrior! 6) I would want to be a Kangaroo so I could kick mean people and then get away with it. 7) I would want to rule France (because that's where the Phantom of the Opera takes place) or Spain (so I could take a siesta everyday!) 8) I like most kinds of music... not screamo and I'm not a huge fan of most rap. Abba, Journey, David Archuleta, Maroon 5, the Carpenters, the Jackson 5, you get the point. 9) I really like Pirates of the Caribbean and Phantom of the Opera 10) a week, because Elders are crazy! But, they get to wear pants... dilemma Your questions are... 1) Would you rather eat raw meat or eat a raw egg? 2) the sun is setting and the power is out and all your books caught on fire, what would you do for fun? 3) If you had to choose one kind of animal to go extinct, what would you choose? 4) Would you rather a shark came and bit off the leg of your wife, but she lived... or kill a stranger? 5) What is your biggest fear? 6) If you had to pick one day of the week that's your favorite, what would it be? 7) If you were a superhero, what would your 2 colors be? 8) If you were a villain, what would your name be? 9) If you had to eat a whole animal from Africa, what would it be? 10) What is your dream Halloween costume? Michael: Yup, call me Arnold... :) When I get back, I'm going to sit down with you and Anna and get the whole story. You say it's easier in person, but by the time I get back, you'll have forgotten details, so I'm going to get your side of the story and then the real story from Anna. hahahahah! JK! Here's a question... If I told Anna to punch you for me, would she do it? :):):) Where does Anna live? What is she studying in school? Jen: Did you and Dace have fun setting up the wedding with the fam? How did your sleep-over go? Is Dace potty-trained yet?
